In March, I was invited to attend the Gratitude House Gala, at the Four Seasons. The event was black tie, no pressure right? I don’t know about you, but black tie on an invitation triggers an instant anxiety attack. As I rummaged through my closet, the anxiety level grew, I found nothing. I went online, and found an amazing Halston Heritage dress on NeimanMarcus.com, but it was more money than what I was prepared to spend. I spent days obsessing about the Halston gown, until finally I succumbed to reality. I was extremely bummed, I had imagined myself making my entrance and looking just divine! Now how was I supposed to accomplish that?
Well, it occurred to me that I had not visited “The Row” (consignment row), in a while. I found the gown pictured above, at Attitudes. At first sight, I must tell you, I was not moved. After trying the dress on, and getting feedback from other shoppers, I was willing to give it a shot. One of the girls who works there, helped me find shoes to match and took the dress to another level. I spent around $200, which included the dress and shoes. I got compliments on my outfit throughout the night. In other words, I killed it. Below is a picture of that evening, and the shoes.

Love it! And you did look gorgeous, as always.
