About The Refined Pursuit
The Refined Pursuit (TRP) was born in 2011, it started out as a fashion blog, but not just any fashion blog. I was bargain hunter, and the blog was where I would document my finds. I visited local consignment stores in search of high-end designer pieces. TRP is headquartered in Palm Beach County, home to a wide variety of consignment shops and affluent closets that keep these stores in business.
In the spring of 2012, life happened. I was offered a full-time job and simply did not have time to blog anymore. I kept the blog around not knowing whether or not I would return.
So here we are 2014, and I have decided to give TRP another go. This time is very different. In the past, I would be very selective about sharing personal stories, information, and experiences. The new Refined Pursuit will be a deeper look at my personality and the things that I love most.
This blog is dedicated to a little of bit of fashion, beauty, personal experiences, items that make my heart skip a beat, and things that make me laugh. I hope you enjoy the content. If you have any suggestions or ideas to share with me, I’d love to hear them. Click on the “contact” tab for information on how to reach me. Thanks for stopping by and reading The Refined Pursuit.
Veronica Amarante’s road to her first love, fashion took a bit of a circuitous route. Just as she moved to New York City in 1995 to attend F.I.T., she was lured into the music business and became a record promotion executive working for companies such as Motown, Atlantic and Loud Records. In 2001, she relocated to Los Angeles to continue her career working for Columbia Records and the Island Def Jam Music Group. Having worked with some of the biggest artists in the industry, including Aerosmith, David Bowie, Beyonce and Jay Z, her professional life was influenced by creative expression, art and style.
In March 2011, she began pursuing her love of fashion again and created TheRefinedPursuit.com. Just as The Refined Pursuit began to take-off, so did her career as a social media marketing professional. Today, Veronica works as a full-time Social Media Director for three healthcare companies. When she’s not attached to tech device, she’s shopping, spending time with her husband, or carrying her shih-tzu, Kobe.
